Some readers have expressed concern that I have posted their emailed articles on the site for all to view.
This is incorrect.
I merely brought up the posted comments by readers on the articles to the blog page. Emailed articles will only be posted if permission is granted by the sender to this site.
The posted comments are already meant for public viewing anyway.
Some of you have have emailed me cases of serious cyber bullying and a few are adults. This is a serious outcome as I t hought the problem lies with kids being bullied online.
Nevertheless, I am merely a messenger here and will try to champion for those who are being bullied online but have no avenue to seek redress.
I hoep that my role here will be one of a social activist. This is a far more difficult role to play here than in Sydney Australia. People there are more open and sincere in going into such social causes. Authorities are also able to give in to some of these social groups; requests.
I guess for Singaporeans we are too concerned with work and it’s duties to be able to carry out any other additional roles that may also lies within our passionate area. This is indeed a sad reflection of how our society has turned into.
I will nevertheless do my best with my team here to champion this cause of anti cyber bullying and will try to take it to the limit…
"Cyber bullying is a particularly insidious type of bullying as it can follow people wherever they go and the anonymity that it seemingly affords to the perpetrator can make it even more stressful for victim." - Edballs
