This educational support site against cyber bullying was mooted when I was still in Australia last yea with my family on a work visa. I came across many instances of students and even adults who became depressed from been cyber bullied on the net.
There were alot of coverage in the newspapers about such cowardly online tactics. I was however encouraged when I saw many websites supporting children against cyber bullying.
Nevertheless, I was very shocked when I realised that there aren’t any website in our country specially designed to provide educational and moral support to our young children who are continuously being exposed to online bullying tactics.
This site also aims to educate and provide affected victims with online counselling support. They can email us about their online sufferings and a counsellor will reply the person as soon as possible.
We hope that we can solict enough support from schools, ministry and even the telcos so that we can run a multi-disciplinary active site to provide solace to those sufferers through public education in schools and community centres. Parents can also come to our site to search for materials on how to handle and manage their kids from being cyber bullied.
Please email me at gilbert@dontcyberbully.com if you have any suggestions on any matters regarding this site.
Thank you.
That’s all bro.

Dear Gilbert,
I think this is a fantastic site. I have been a drama educator for the past 10 years and I have seen the increase of cyber bullying over the years. It’s about time someone did something about this. Thank you.
I am trying to fight cyber bullying in my own way. I have recently collaborated with the Esplanade under their Feed Your Imagination programme and my company, CH!LL! PADI, will be putting up a forum theatre show regarding cyber bullying, titled “So Ugly Can Die!”.
I have 2 questions.
1. Is it possible to publish the address of your website on the programme booklet so that the students watching can be more aware of the various venues where they can seek help from?
2. Is it also possible for you highlight this show somewhere in this site so that concern teachers know that there is such a show going on right now?
Details are at http://www.esplanade.com/fyi/10ugly.html
Thank you and keep on doing what you are doing.
